My Story
Born and raised in a working class neighborhood in Philadelphia, number four of a brood of six. Raised Catholic yet now consider myself open, spiritual and a bit agnostic.
Several years after graduation, I moved to Los Angeles. Spent five years, schlepping in restaurants, working in media production and teaching in public schools. I moved to San Francisco and discovered two of my biggest loves, the fringe theater world and my wife. We were gifted with our daughter in 2006, then moved to my wife’s hometown Malmo, Sweden in 2008.
In Sweden I taught within the international schools. Finding a strong capacity and love of working one on one with students, as well as with their parents I transitioned to the mental health field. Earning a masters in psychology counseling, I now provide mental health care via tele-health in California and in Europe.
